Job description

Locum Urologist KY- 24hr In House call

Location:
  • Kentucky

Job Type:
  • Locum Tenens

Practice Setting:
  • Hospital-based
  • Primarily inpatient (100% inpatient), with potential for some outpatient procedures

Coverage Need:
  • Ongoing
  • 7 10 days per month

Schedule:
  • 24-hour in-house call

Call Details:
  • Call required
  • Call ratio: 4 6
  • Average callback time: 2 8 hours

Providers Needed:
  • 1 3
Patient Population:
  • Adults

Daily Volume:
  • Approximately 6 12 patients/day

Required Skills & Procedures:
  • General Urology
  • Ureteroscopy
  • Advanced endoscopic techniques
  • Laser certification
  • ESWL (Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy) available on Tuesdays

Support Staff:
  • Two onsite ambulatory APRNs

EMR:
  • Epic

Credentialing
  • Estimated timeframe: 90 days
  • Temporary privileges: Available


Requirements
  • Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Urology
  • Updated CV
  • NPDB ( Current month Copy)
  • Kentucky medical license or active IMLC
  • DEA
  • ACLS preferred
