A physician-led cardiology and peripheral vascular group in Jacksonville is seeking a non-invasive or invasive/non-interventional cardiologist to join its busy practice.
About the practice
- Seven physicians (four interventionalists, one electrophysiologist, two non-invasive) supported by seven ARNPs
- Referrals from 100+ sources and a large established patient base
- Main office located next to a large community hospital with cardiac, peripheral and EP labs
- In-house nuclear (SPECT and cardiac PET), 128-slice cardiac CT with AI, echo, vascular ultrasound, pacemaker checks and remote ECG monitoring
- Office-based cath lab, a new two-room ASC opening in 2027, and a large venous program
The role
- Office consultations and hospital rounding; hospitalists and PCPs admit, so you consult only
- Read diagnostic tests, including nuclear studies
- Recognize and manage both cardiac and peripheral vascular disease, as the practice sees a high volume of peripheral patients
- Occasional clinic days at nearby sub-offices; most physicians live equidistant from them
- After hours, usually phone calls only
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in cardiovascular disease
- Nuclear boards preferred
