Responsibilities- Act as finance business partner to the Americas Leadership Team (Canada, US, Latin America)
- Lead Financial Planning & Analysis activities: budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis, financial modeling
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide analyses for executive leadership
- Collaborate across matrix teams (GRD BU, local affiliates, accounting, procurement, tax, product supply, shared services) to align planning and reporting
- Support market activation, launch readiness, and disciplined investment decisions
- Translate market dynamics and growth drivers into robust financial scenarios for 9 products (> $1B in sales)
- Provide leadership to the Finance team through coaching, succession planning and development
- Oversee Global Rare Diseases BU monthly Sales and P&L consolidation across regions and functions
- Deliver strategic financial analyses and executive reporting for GRD Leadership Team and Corporate Finance
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes, systems, reporting, and planning tools
Key requirements- 12+ years of progressive finance leadership in life sciences
- 5+ years at Senior Director level or equivalent partnering with executive commercial leaders
- Deep expertise in commercial finance, forecasting, pricing, market access, reimbursement and gross-to-net (US-focused)
- Experience supporting product launches and commercialization planning across geographies
- Exposure to licensing, acquisitions or due diligence (desirable)
- SAP ERP implementation experience a plus; planning system experience is essential
- Strong ability to influence, lead, and work in cross-functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication with senior management
