The Role:
- Location: Albuquerque, NM 87102
- Assignment duration: Sporadic Weeks needed
- Hours: 12 hours. In-house rounding/procedures Mon-Sun 7a-7p.
- Call Details: Call back between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m.
- Cases: Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and ERCP required (diagnostic and therapeutic). Other GI procedures include upper GI endoscopy (with biopsy, foreign body removal, cautery, variceal injection), colonoscopy (with biopsy and polypectomy), PEG placement, liver biopsy, small bowel biopsy, esophageal dilatation/manometry, and management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube.
- Patient Encounters Per Shift: 15
- Support Staff: 3 RNs, 3 NP/PAs
- Requirements: Active NM License, Board Certified, ACLS, BLS, Clean file
- Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
