Surgery - Thoracic Physician Assistant

Job Details:
Start Date: Mid December
Contract Length: 3 6 months
Shift- Standard - 3 Day (10 Hours/Day) (06:30-17:00).
Call: Includes weekends and holidays

Work Details:
Support Staff: APPs, Residents, Surgeons
Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: 75%-full time
Patients per day: Mostly OR support
Patient Population/Age: variable adults
Department Description: Cardiac Surgery
EMR: EPIC
Hospital Bed size: 600+
Special Procedures: Expert in EVH and Radial artery harvesting. Cardiac first assist.
Skills Required: - First assist in the Cardiac surgery OR.
Practice Setting: Hospital
Credentialing Timeframe: 2 months

Submission Requirement:
• Resume/CV (No Gaps more than 30 days)
• NPDB pulled within 30-days. At time of presentation REQUIRED
• Board Certification: PA/RNFA REQUIRED
• License Required: California License PA/RNFA REQUIRED
• Certificates Required: DEA, BLS, ACLS, ATLS. REQUIRED
• Minimum Experience Required: Expert in cardiac surgery OR assist REQUIRED
