Overview In this role you will lead the strategy and roadmap for foundational agricultural data products that power DTN's agriculture portfolio. You'll define data structures, governance, and delivery mechanisms for reuse across products, analytics, APIs, and AI experiences. The position sits at the intersection of product, data engineering, architecture, and data science with executive visibility. You will enable scalable, trusted data to unlock commercial value and support AI-enabled applications. This is a senior, autonomous, impact-driven role focused on shaping a data foundation for better decisioning in agriculture.

Responsibilities- Own the strategy, roadmap, and investment priorities for agricultural data products including pipelines, canonical data models, APIs, and shared data services
- Identify common data needs across the agriculture portfolio and translate them into scalable platform capabilities
- Prioritize investments based on customer value, commercial opportunity, data quality, feasibility, and scalability
- Evaluate new datasets and capabilities for strategic fit and potential to enable analytics, ML, and AI use cases
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Architecture, Data Science, and Product teams to translate needs into scalable data solutions
- Drive data initiatives from discovery to delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement
- Define requirements for data quality, coverage, freshness, reliability, governance, and accessibility
- Drive alignment and resolve tradeoffs across complex data initiatives spanning multiple products and teams
- Define success metrics across data quality, reliability, adoption, and commercial impact
- Leverage performance data and stakeholder feedback to improve DTN's data products
- Identify opportunities to expand DTN's agricultural data for analytics, predictive models, and AI
- Help establish a trusted data foundation for discoverability and AI usability
Key requirements- 6+ years of Product Management experience with data, platform, or B2B SaaS products
- Experience leading products from strategy through delivery and optimization
- Strong business acumen and judgment in complex, ambiguous environments
- Ability to balance customer value, commercial opportunity, technical complexity, and long-term strategy
- Experience managing data-intensive products (pipelines, APIs, analytics, or data platforms)
- Understanding of modern data architectures (data lakes/warehouses, ETL/ELT, APIs, cloud)
- Experience partnering with Data Engineering, Architecture, and Data Science
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
- Knowledge of data requirements for ML/AI, including quality, metadata, governance, and access
