Responsibilities- Provide underwriting support and authorization for title insurance commitments and policies
- Apply underwriting standards within delegated authority to real estate transactions
- Counsel and guide company personnel on real estate settlement services
- Issue and maintain underwriting standards and guidelines according to processes
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements- 8-10 years of title underwriting experience
- Law degree and licensed to practice law in good standing
- Familiarity with real estate law
- Strong understanding of real estate title and settlement processes
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to title insurance and settlement services
- Ability to collaborate, communicate effectively, and act decisively
