We are looking to hire an EHS Administrative Coordinator in the city of Cleveland, OH. This is a Contract opportunity to join an aerospace manufacturing company!
Schedule: (Monday- Friday)
Contract: Temporary for 6 months
Pay: $20 - $21/hour
Position Summary
The EHS Administrative Coordinator provides administrative and organizational support to the Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) department. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate records, entering, and organizing data, managing documentation, and supporting the department with day-to-day administrative activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with confidential and safety-related information, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
Perform accurate and timely data entry for EHS records, reports, databases, and tracking systems.
Maintain, organize, and update electronic and hard-copy EHS files and documentation.
File and retrieve safety, environmental, training, inspection, incident, and compliance records as needed.
Organize information to ensure EHS documentation is easily accessible and maintained in accordance with company requirements.
Maintain spreadsheets, tracking logs, and databases related to EHS activities.
Assist with tracking employee training, certifications, inspections, audits, corrective actions, and other EHS-related requirements.
Prepare, organize, and distribute EHS forms, reports, communications, and other documentation.
Assist EHS personnel with compiling information and preparing reports, presentations, and meeting materials.
Review documentation for completeness, accuracy, and consistency and follow up on missing information when necessary.
Maintain organized electronic folders and shared drives, ensuring documents are properly named, stored, and retained.
Assist with maintaining safety bulletin boards, employee communication materials, and EHS resources.
Support scheduling of EHS meetings, training, inspections, and other department activities.
Assist with maintaining records related to regulatory and company EHS requirements.
Handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
Provide general administrative support to the EHS department as needed.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Skills/Knowledge:
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to learn other software programs as required
Background in executive secretarial area and/or office management
Strong time management and communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manual
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
1 - 2 years related experience and/or training
