Locums Geriatrics NP/PA Portland, OR (Active OR License Required) Why This Role

- No call, nights, or weekends
- Low daily patient volume
- Collaborative interdisciplinary care model
Assignment Details- Location: Portland, Oregon
- Start Date: November 1, 2026
- End Date: Ongoing
- Preferred Schedule: Monday ÄìFriday, 8:00 AM Äì5:00 PM
- Flexible Option: Three to four days per week
- Minimum Commitment: Two weeks per month
- Setting: Outpatient clinic and community-based care
- Call: None
- Patient Volume: Approximately 4 Äì6 patients per shift
- Guaranteed Hours: Eight hours per scheduled day
- EMR: Epic
- Temporary Privileges: Not available
Requirements- Board-certified or truly board-eligible Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active Oregon NP or PA license
- Active DEA registration
- Active BLS certification
- Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, gerontology, or geriatrics experience
- Geriatric patient-care experience
- Current CV required at submission
- Ability to travel locally for community and home-based visits
Clinical Details- Exclusively serves adults age 55 and older
- Combination of clinic and community-based patient care
- Offsite visits may occur at:
- Assisted-living facilities - Skilled-nursing facilities - Patients Äô private residences- A nurse will typically accompany the provider during community visits
- Care delivered through an 11-member interdisciplinary team
- Support includes approximately 12 APPs and four office staff members
- Most care coordination and patient management is completed through Epic
- No APP supervision or teaching responsibilities
