Locums Invasive Cardiology Medford, OR (Active OR License Required) Why This Role
- Ongoing coverage beginning January 2027
- Flexible commitment of one to two weeks per month
- Combination of hospital, clinic, and call coverage
- Approximately 7 Äì9 patients per shift
- Two cardiologists needed
Assignment Details- Location: Medford, Oregon
- Start Date: January 1, 2027
- End Date: Ongoing
- Commitment: Approximately 7 Äì14 shifts or one to two weeks per month
- Weekend Coverage: One to two weekends per month
- Daytime Schedule: 8:00 AM Äì5:00 PM onsite
- Weeknight Call: Beeper call from 5:00 PM Äì8:00 AM
- Weekend Call: 24-hour beeper call
- Call Response Time: Approximately 15 Äì20 minutes
- Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
- EMR: Epic
- Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
- Temporary Privileges: Not available
- Hospital Privileges: Required
- Guaranteed Hours: Eight hours per scheduled day
Requirements- Board-certified Cardiologist
- Active Oregon medical license
- Active DEA registration
- Active ACLS and BLS certifications
- Experience with:
- Cardioversion - Transesophageal echocardiography - Stress echocardiography - Echocardiogram interpretation - EKG interpretation - Stress-test interpretation- Current CV required at submission
- Must provide availability for interviews during the next two weeks
Preferred- Nuclear cardiology interpretation experience
Clinical Details- Approximately 7 Äì9 patients per shift
- Level III trauma environment
- Support includes:
- 1 RN - 5 Medical Assistants - 7 office staff members- No APP supervision or teaching responsibilities
- Initial physician screening followed by a virtual team interview
