Locums Hematology/Oncology Eau Claire, WI (No License Required to Bid) Why This Role
- Ongoing community-based Hematology/Oncology coverage
- Full-time schedule preferred; 2 Äì3 weeks per month considered
- Established physician and APP support team
- Onsite chemotherapy, infusion, and radiation oncology services
- Temporary privileges available
Assignment Details- Location: Eau Claire, Wisconsin
- Start Date: December 1, 2026
- End Date: Ongoing
- Preferred Commitment: Full-time
- Alternative Commitment: Two to three weeks per month
- Schedule: Monday ÄìFriday, 8:00 AM Äì5:00 PM
- Lunch: One-hour break
- Call: Shared weeknight and weekend beeper call
- Call Response Time: 30 minutes
- Setting: Inpatient consultations and outpatient clinic
- EMR: Cerner
- Credentialing: Approximately 60 days
- Temporary Privileges: Available
- Hospital Privileges: Required
Requirements- Board-certified or board-eligible Hematologist/Oncologist
- Hematology/Oncology fellowship training
- Active ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications
- Ability to manage a broad range of hematologic and oncologic conditions
- Ability to provide ambulatory and hospital consultations
- Willingness to participate in shared night and weekend call
- Must use the required real-time mobile timekeeping system
Preferred Skills- Bone marrow biopsy experience
Clinical Details- Approximately 15 patients per shift
- Community-based cancer center
- Support team includes:
- 2 physicians - 3 Nurse Practitioners - RNs, Medical Assistants, and office staff- 18 chemotherapy infusion chairs
- 2 non-chemotherapy infusion chairs
- Onsite radiation oncology services
- Bone marrow biopsies can be performed within the cancer center
- No APP supervision or teaching responsibilities
