Assignment Details- Location: Hood River, Oregon
- Start Date: January 1, 2027
- Duration: Ongoing
- Preferred Commitment: Full-time
- Alternative Commitments: One week on/one week off or two weeks on/two weeks off
- Clinic Days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
- Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM Äì5:00 PM
- Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
- Patient Volume: Approximately 15 patients per clinic shift
- Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
- Temporary Privileges: Not available
- EMR: Epic
Call Schedule- Approximately eight call shifts per month
- Call shifts may be sporadic rather than consecutive
- Weeknight Call: 5:00 PM Äì7:00 AM
- Weekend Call: One weekend of 24-hour beeper call per month
- 24-Hour Call: 7:00 AM Äì7:00 AM
- Response Time: 20 Äì30 minutes
- Call responsibilities may be divided between two confirmed providers
Requirements- Board certified or board eligible within three to five years
- Active Oregon medical license at submission
- Active DEA registration
- Active BLS and NRP certifications
- Current OB and GYN case logs from the past 24 months
- Ability to obtain both obstetric and gynecologic privileges
- Availability for a virtual interview during the two weeks following presentation
Required Clinical Skills- Low-risk pregnancy management
- Fetal heart-rate interpretation
- Level I obstetric ultrasound
- Routine vaginal and low-forceps deliveries
- Cesarean-section decision-making and performance
- Breech delivery and multiple births
- Placental abruption management
- Third- and fourth-degree laceration repair
- Minor office gynecology procedures
Preferred Skills- High-risk pregnancy management
- Open and laparoscopic gynecologic surgery
- Major operative gynecology
Clinical Details- Approximately 0 Äì2 deliveries during a 24-hour call shift
- Some call shifts may have no deliveries
- Approximately 208 deliveries annually
- Emergency gynecologic coverage, including ectopic pregnancy
- In-office procedures and minor gynecologic or OR cases
- Support includes two RNs and four Medical Assistants
- No APP or resident supervision required
