- Iowa Methodist Medical Center Äî 370-bed ACS-verified Level I Trauma Center
- Blank Children's Hospital Äî 88-bed ACS-verified Level II Trauma Center
- 1,700 admissions annually
- One location to cover with a newer ED and Trauma rooms
- Surgery department consists of 5 Trauma/Critical Care Surgeons (growing to 6), 5 General
Surgeons, 4 Colorectal Surgeons, and 1 Surgical Oncologist- General Surgery Residency Program on-site
