Overview As Vice President of Sales, you lead a sales team to achieve revenue and retention goals within ADP. You'll drive performance, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and manage the area's budget and strategic plans. Responsibilities- Achieve or exceed 100% of assigned sales quota within the required product mix
- Prepare and implement business plans to reach regional sales goals
- Manage the area's net sales expense and budget objectives
- Coach, develop, and advance direct reports and career paths
- Execute staffing, retention, and performance management to maintain effective teams
- Participate in EEO/Affirmative Action, recruiting, selection, and promotion processes
- Collaborate with other functions to ensure smooth sales execution
- Prepare Monthly Situation Reports and forecast accounts likely to close
- Provide feedback on lead generation effectiveness and market needs to Sales Ops and Marketing
- Communicate marketplace needs and propose solutions to Sales and Marketing
Key requirements- 8-10 years of total sales experience with substantial senior sales management experience
- Proven ability to manage a large sales team
- Strong leadership, professionalism, and business planning capability
- Experience partnering with General Management and Operations to hit sales, revenue, profit, and client retention objectives
- College degree is preferred but not required
- Military experience accepted as an alternative
