Overview

Join Acrisure as Operations Manager, Marketing and Communications, to strengthen the function's operational backbone. You will partner with Marketing & Communications leaders to manage budgets, vendors, and workflows, ensuring disciplined, transparent execution. You will oversee project plans, timelines, and governance across brand and digital activities in a fast-paced, matrix environment. This role offers visibility into cross-functional initiatives and a chance to shape how marketing operations scale to support growth. You will enable impact by improving processes and delivering on strategic priorities with clear ownership.

Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day vendor and agency relationships, onboarding, scope coordination, contract tracking, performance check-ins, issue resolution, and alignment to budgets and governance requirements
  • Process and track invoices against approved budgets, reconcile discrepancies, monitor spend trends, and flag variances or risks to the Director of Operations
  • Maintain budget tracking documentation and support monthly and quarterly budget-to-actual reporting, including spend summaries and forecast updates
  • Coordinate vendor and contractor management with procurement, manage third-party intake requests and approvals, ensuring governance and budget adherence
  • Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and vendor coordination plans
  • Manage project schedules, deliverables, visibility, budget alignment, and approval readiness across internal and external teams
  • Monitor milestones, dependencies, risks, and resource needs to support delivery
  • Facilitate project meetings and provide status updates to leadership with progress, risks, and governance checkpoints
  • Manage day-to-day intake, prioritization, and workflow coordination across digital, internal and external communications, social media, events, brand, and creative channels
  • Maintain and improve team operating processes, governance standards, and workflow tools to increase visibility and accountability
  • Support planning calendars, roadmaps, and launch schedules to manage priorities and dependencies
  • Ensure deliverables move through review, approval, and governance processes
  • Serve as a liaison between Marketing & Communications and HR, Legal, Compliance, IT, and the business
  • Coordinate enterprise initiatives requiring integrated communications and marketing support with clear ownership and approvals
  • Build relationships across stakeholders to drive alignment and execution
  • Maintain dashboards and reporting tools for project status, budget, team capacity, and governance milestones
  • Support annual planning, quarterly reviews, department reporting, and leadership presentations
  • Partner with the Director of Operations to align projects, portfolios, budgets, and governance with strategic objectives
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve productivity
  • Develop and maintain templates, governance frameworks, budget tools, and best practices
Key requirements
  • 5+ years of operations, project management, budget coordination, vendor management, or marketing and communications experience
  • Experience managing cross-functional initiatives in a large, matrixed or global organization preferred
  • Strong knowledge of operational workflows, project governance, budget tracking, procurement processes, and cross-functional stakeholder management
  • Proficiency with project management platforms such as Asana, Smartsheet, Workfront, Jira, or Microsoft Project
  • Familiarity with procurement, finance, or vendor management systems such as Workday, SAP Ariba, NetSuite, or similar
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management training preferred
