Overview

In this role you will support Banking FP&A, driving budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting to enable senior leaders to make data-driven decisions. You will collaborate across partners to align data with standards, improve reporting processes, and contribute to cross-functional projects. Responsibilities
  • Prepare senior-management presentations and financial analytics on revenues and cost drivers
  • Maintain data reporting standards and integrity for Banking LOB per head office requirements
  • Develop detailed budget vs. actual variance reports to support decision-making
  • Enhance reporting and budgeting processes to streamline data production
  • Collaborate with Finance, back office, and front office to analyze trends in revenues, expenses, and KPIs
  • Maintain reporting hierarchies and mappings to ensure data integrity across systems
  • Monitor monthly allocation and inter-entity reconciliations for accuracy
  • Assist in planning and executing cross-functional projects including revenue forecasting and expense initiatives
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business-related majors; CPA or CFA preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services, with 2 years in business planning and financial analysis
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP tools such as Hyperion, Anaplan, PeopleSoft, and OneStream
  • Strong understanding of banking products and their revenue/expense relationships
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with US GAAP and IFRS; knowledge of general ledger concepts preferred
  • Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities while delivering timely information
  • Experience with organization hierarchy and income statement structures across business lines and entities
