Overview In this role you will monitor daily trading activity to detect potential market manipulation and abusive practices within equities and equity derivatives. You will work as part of a surveillance team in New York, applying Nasdaq Trade Surveillance to identify risks and ensure compliance. The position supports the firm's risk controls and market integrity objectives in a top-tier global bank. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine surveillance processes and respond to alerts, with a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities- Perform daily surveillance of equities and equity derivatives (options)
- Identify and escalate suspicious trading patterns and potential market manipulation
- Utilize Nasdaq Trade Surveillance to monitor activity and enforce controls
- Collaborate with compliance and trading teams to optimize surveillance rules and workflows
Key requirements- Bachelor
- 2+ years of experience in trade surveillance
- Experience with equities and derivatives
- Experience with Nasdaq Trade Surveillance
- Advanced degree a plus
