Business Relationship Manager Senior Deepening - Vice President

Overview

In this role you will deepen and manage a portfolio of senior business clients, delivering tailored banking and advisory solutions to support growth and profitability. You will collaborate across branches and internal experts to provide deposits, cash management, and credit services while managing risk. You'll build long-term, high-touch relationships with business owners and centers of influence, driving primary banking relationships and referrals in a mission-driven, customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of 100 business clients with revenue >$5M; provide deposits, cash management, and credit up to $15M; support large credit deals for branch bankers
  • Deliver customized business banking solutions aligned with clients' financial needs
  • Promote solutions to support portfolio profitability using knowledge of finance, banking, credit, and risk
  • Develop business networks and prospects using market knowledge and creative marketing, leveraging Chase resources
  • Conduct in-person/virtual client meetings to cultivate long-term primary banking relationships
  • Understand owners' personal financial goals and partner with Branch, Wealth Management and Private Bank to deliver personal solutions
  • Onboard clients with treasury products and ensure end-to-end delivery; follow up post account opening for additional solutions and digital capabilities
  • Follow risk management protocols and regulatory requirements to protect the firm
Key requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience
  • Strong knowledge of deposit and cash management products; knowledge of business credit underwriting with commercial credit training
  • Ability to anticipate client issues, own problems, and follow through with commitments
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills across levels; ability to influence; leverage technology in client interactions
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Self-directed, proactive, and capable of navigating ambiguity
