Overview

In this role you will deepen relationships with the affluent and high net worth client base, delivering holistic financial solutions and proactive guidance. You will work closely with product specialists to tailor banking, credit, and investment options, while maintaining high-touch client engagement and rigorous compliance. You'll mentor teammates, influence cross-team decisions, and help grow wallet share within Citi's wealth platform. This position combines relationship leadership with governance, enabling impactful, regulated client advisory at scale.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and deepen client relationships to grow wallet share among affluent and HNW segments
  • Anticipate complex financial needs and offer holistic solutions using a wide range of products and tools
  • Collaborate with product specialists to profile client goals across banking, credit, and investments
  • Maintain regular high-touch client engagement and organized follow-up
  • Develop and leverage referrals to expand the client base and segment partnerships
  • Organize client events and convert referrals into new client relationships
  • Ensure compliant client service and adherence to KYC/AML and regulatory procedures
  • Assess risk in business decisions, escalate control issues, and uphold Citi policies
  • Partner with branch team to ensure positive in-branch client experiences
  • Provide coaching and training to new recruits and influence team performance
Key requirements
  • 5-8 years of experience
  • Strong analytical and financial skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized with strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and experience with NaviPlan Select or similar financial planning software preferred
  • Basic understanding of investment and financial planning strategies preferred
  • Self-starter, problem solver and goal-oriented team player
  • Required US FINRA Registration: SIE, 6, 63, and 65 or 7 and 66 or equivalent; must meet all requirements within 150 days
  • Life insurance license required; must obtain within 150 days
  • FINRA Mortgage MLO registry requirement and related onboarding per SAFE Act
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
