Responsibilities- Prospect for new small business clients and deepen relationships to drive revenue growth
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand client goals, needs, credit profile, and growth opportunities
- Serve as primary contact and recommend solutions across loans, deposits, cash management, and core banking products
- Design financial solutions aligned to objectives and risk standards
- Monitor portfolio performance and credit quality, applying underwriting judgment
- Collaborate with underwriting, portfolio management, and internal teams for timely reporting and client outcomes
- Address client concerns and coordinate with business lines to deliver integrated solutions
- Engage with the community and local organizations to identify business development opportunities
Key requirements- Expert-level consultative selling, financial analysis, and relationship management skills
- Advanced business acumen, underwriting expertise, and product knowledge
- Strong understanding of banking operations, sales, new business development, customer service and community relations
- Professionalism and knowledge of lending policies, credit structures, products, services, and regulatory requirements
- Typically a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and three to four years of experience in relationship banking
- NMLS registration under SAFÉ Act and Regulation Z, plus ongoing regulatory compliance
