Overview As Mechanical Supervisor, you will lead the mechanical maintenance group at the Brunswick Cellulose site, guiding safety-driven, reliable maintenance for critical equipment. You will collaborate with maintenance, operations, and engineering to implement short- and long-term strategies that improve reliability and performance. The role focuses on safety, incident learning, and continuous improvement of maintenance processes. Your leadership and hands-on expertise will help maximize crew efficiency and asset uptime in a large, integrated pulp mill environment.

Responsibilities- Lead and develop the mechanical maintenance team, promoting best practices
- Develop weekly maintenance schedules and allocate resources to planned work orders
- Oversee mechanical maintenance activities, prioritizing safety and preventive maintenance
- Investigate injuries, complete incident reports and root cause analyses with follow-up
- Apply economic thinking to close resource gaps and improve crew efficiency
- Manage contractors supporting routine maintenance
- Support AMWP by providing daily updates and reviewing maintenance sheets
- Support maintenance KPIs such as schedule adherence, PM compliance, and resource utilization
- Close work orders and provide feedback to planners for continuous improvement
Key requirements- Experience applying reliability, predictive, and preventive maintenance techniques
- Experience performing mechanical maintenance on industrial equipment (pumps, tanks) in an industrial/manufacturing setting
