Overview In this role you lead major vehicle integration and validation programs, guiding validation strategies and cross-functional efforts to ensure system acceptance. Responsibilities- Lead major vehicle integration and validation projects across vehicle, powertrain, controls, and connected systems
- Develop validation strategies, test plans, acceptance criteria, and execution plans aligned with program objectives
- Act as technical lead for system acceptance testing and cross-functional validation activities
- Collaborate with PACCAR divisions, suppliers, and engineering teams to define requirements and resolve issues
- Analyze complex vehicle, software, and systems integration issues and provide data-driven recommendations
- Coordinate validation resources, schedules, budgets, risks, and program metrics
- Drive improvements in validation methods, tools, and processes to boost testing effectiveness and product quality
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers across the organization
- Present findings, recommendations, and program status to engineering leadership and management
- Support validation activities for connected vehicle technologies, including OTA updates and Remote Diagnostics
- Travel up to 15% as required to support testing and program activities
Key requirements- 7+ years of engineering experience in automotive/vehicle domains
- Experience leading complex engineering projects with multiple stakeholders
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems, controls, software integration, and validation principles
- Proven ability to solve complex technical problems with incomplete or ambiguous information
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently with broad objectives and minimal supervision
