Overview As Payroll Specialist, you will manage end-to-end payroll for a large workforce, ensuring timely processing and accuracy across multiple states. You will work with established payroll platforms to resolve discrepancies and support compliant payroll administration. You will engage with employees and stakeholders to answer questions and prepare documentation for audits. This long-term contract role focuses on precision, regulatory compliance, and smooth payroll operations at scale.
Responsibilities- Process full-cycle payroll for 500+ employees with accurate earnings, deductions, and taxes
- Administer payroll across multiple states to ensure regulatory compliance
- Review records for accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and resolve timekeeping and pay issues
- Utilize ADP Workforce Now and Paylocity to manage payroll transactions and reporting
- Coordinate updates for new hires, terminations, compensation changes, benefits deductions, and garnishments
- Reconcile payroll totals and supporting reports to identify variances before final processing
- Respond to employee and stakeholder questions on payroll details and transactions
- Support payroll audits and documentation requests with organized records
