Overview As Senior Cost Accountant, you will develop and maintain standard cost models for manufactured products and provide insightful cost analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making. You will work closely with production, supply chain, and finance teams to improve cost visibility, monitor variances, and drive efficiency and profitability. The role involves inventory valuation accuracy, month-end close support, and process improvements in costing and reporting within a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and refine standard cost models for manufactured products
- Review material, labor, and overhead costs to identify variances and opportunities for cost control
- Partner with production, supply chain, and finance teams to improve cost visibility
- Prepare recurring cost reports, inventory analyses, and margin reviews for budgeting and decision-making
- Monitor inventory transactions and reconciliations for valuation accuracy and policy compliance
- Analyze production results against standards and recommend efficiency improvements
- Support month-end and year-end close activities related to costing, inventory, and manufacturing results
- Contribute to process improvements in costing methods, reporting workflows, and financial controls
