Overview In this role you drive the strategy and lifecycle for Ditch Witch Division's product portfolio within the underground construction market. You will lead market research, VOC, and MGPP-driven planning to align customer needs with company objectives. Your work shapes product positioning, launches, and pricing while collaborating across engineering, sales, and marketing to deliver value-added innovations. Responsibilities- Manage the assigned product portfolio through its lifecycle to optimize ROI
- Lead VOC and market research to define customer needs and guide product decisions
- Develop and execute an annual MGPP for the portfolio
- Define market needs, trends, and customer expectations
- Create product strategies and communicate them to align with corporate goals
- Develop business cases for new products based on market and competition
- Champion new product development via the 1PDS stage gate, ensuring customer alignment and financial targets
- Collaborate with engineering and test teams to ensure design criteria and test plans for quality and warranty reduction
- Plan and execute product launches with marketing, training, and sales
- Engage in IBP for sales, inventory, and transition planning
- Deliver product training for launches and provide timely positioning intel to teams
- Monitor market share, retail indicators, and order activity to assess performance
- Collaborate on pricing strategies with sales and finance
- Support industry trade shows and customer events as a subject matter expert
- Foster cross-functional collaboration to support strategic priorities
- Build relationships with engineering, sales, operations, dealers, and leadership
- Perform other duties as required
- Represent the portfolio as an industry expert externally

Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, marketing, or related field
- 4+ years in Underground Construction Division or related industry (PM I) or 6+ years (PM II)
- Knowledge of profit and loss statements and strong analytical skills
- Ability to articulate customer needs and propose concepts that meet market objectives
- Experience with MGPP and stage-gate processes
- Strong technical aptitude for collaboration with engineering
- Proven self-starter with the ability to lead multiple projects
- Effective product launches and daily product management
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
