Senior Associate, Transaction Strategy (Finance)

Overview

In this role, you support delivering advisory engagements for corporate and private equity clients handling significant transactions with a finance and accounting focus. You'll collaborate with M&A services teams and cross-functional groups to cover the full range of F&A activities. You contribute to client engagements across deal lifecycles, from pre-signing to post-close operations, while thriving in a collaborative, growth-driven culture. Responsibilities
  • Assist with delivering client engagements for corporate and private equity clients with significant transactions, focusing on finance & accounting operations
  • Collaborate with M&A Services teams on F&A engagements and/or work streams
  • Engage with cross-functional teams including financial due diligence, accounting advisory, transaction tax, and treasury services
  • Assist with selling and delivering engagements for corporate and private equity groups with significant transactions involving F&A functions
Key requirements
  • Minimum of three years of experience in accounting and management consulting for corporate and/or private equity clients
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field
  • CPA or MBA a plus
  • Experience across deal lifecycle from pre-signing to post-close operations on M&A
  • Proven track record in project management, process analysis, or financial analytics
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Understanding of finance and accounting functions in large organizations
  • Experience with at least one F&A sub-function (OTC, P2P, Record to Report, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, Internal Audit) is preferred
  • Experience with TSAs, chart of accounts, shared services, and Day 1 readiness is preferred
  • Willingness to travel
