Overview In this role you guide financial discovery efforts for Microsoft's Corporate, External, and Legal Affairs (CELA). You will deliver precise reporting and data-driven insights from large datasets to support regulatory and compliance decisions. You'll partner with Finance and cross-functional teams to streamline processes and leverage AI-enabled tools to scale reporting. The role blends finance, analytics, and project management to inform executives and meet tight timelines. You'll join a collaborative, growth-oriented team that values diverse perspectives and impactful work.
Responsibilities- Conduct deep financial research and analysis across archived or historical data and stitch together multiple sources as needed
- Follow prescribed processes with strict data custody and accuracy
- Improve reporting, automation, and analytics using AI tools to boost speed and precision
- Provide concise, high-quality reporting to business partners and act as a trusted advisor
- Partner with stakeholders inside and outside Finance to solve business problems
- Proactively identify and address issues and opportunities
- Represent and uphold team culture and values in all interactions
Key requirements- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance OR equivalent experience
