Overview In this role you will lead a major generation project with a budget in the billions, owning safety, schedule, cost, and stakeholder alignment from site to leadership. You'll steer multi-component EPC/CCGT initiatives, ensure regulatory and compliance targets, and guide a high-performing team to deliver on time and within investment. You will partner with internal and external stakeholders to secure approvals, manage contracts, and drive project execution on location. This is a demanding, high-visibility role at the heart of large-scale energy delivery.

Responsibilities- Own overall project execution and management across all workstreams
- Implement and oversee safety program with focus on Zero Harm
- Report strategy, needs, and solutions to Generation Executive leadership
- Establish and negotiate commercial contracting strategy (EPC and engineering agreements)
- Drive integrated schedule and align resources across teams
- Oversee budget/contingency and ensure targets are met
- Identify and mitigate project risks and manage executive risk register
- Lead change management and resolve disputes
- Build and mentor a cohesive leadership team
- Manage stakeholder relationships with utilities, regulators, landowners, and contractors
- Ensure regulatory readiness and successful hearings for approvals
- Oversee staffing, vendor management, and construction delivery
- Provide technical understanding to drive solutions on project work
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Project Management, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- PMP certification
- Ten years of relevant experience in major construction/project management with progressive responsibility
- Experience in two or more of: major construction projects, project controls, commissioning, fossil generation, contract negotiations, or similar
- Valid state driver's license
- Willingness to travel and be on-site for project duration
