Responsibilities- Manage and grow a caseload of healthcare, employment, and commercial litigation matters
- Maintain and expand client relationships within the firm's collaborative structure
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
- Oversee case strategy, depositions, and hearings
- Collaborate with partners and firm leadership on litigation and business development initiatives
Key requirements- 5+ years of civil litigation experience in healthcare, employment, or commercial litigation
- Existing client base or ability to bring in partial book of business
- Mississippi Bar membership in good standing (or ability to waive in)
- Strong legal writing, research, and client communication skills
- Federal court or clerkship experience preferred
