Overview In this role you will lead 1-3 store zones, shaping a consistent customer experience and merchandising standards to drive sales. You'll coach a diverse team, develop leadership plans, and ensure staffing and execution align with budget and goals. You'll partner with HR to hire and develop talent while promoting loyalty initiatives. This position sits at the core of store operations, influencing customer readiness, in-stock levels, and planogram integrity. You'll work in a fast-paced environment to deliver Best in Class execution and customer service.
Responsibilities- Lead 1-3 sales zones/departments within the store to ensure consistent customer experience
- Drive trip assurance and visual merchandising standards across zones
- Oversee team development, including training, coaching and mentoring for best-in-class execution
- Develop and execute individual development plans for direct and indirect reports
- Staff according to budget and optimize coverage for customer needs
- Hire, train, and manage performance with HR support
- Ensure customer readiness standards and in-stock levels are met
- Set end caps, merchandise displays, and signage
- Promote Fleet Farm loyalty program and other company initiatives
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent relevant experience
- 3 years of management experience in a Big Box retailer (preferred)
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and build relationships in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to direct and motivate a diverse population (full-time and part-time)
- Decisive with ability to implement solutions, plan, delegate, monitor, and adapt to change
