Overview

As EHS Manager you will lead site-wide environmental, health, and safety programs to protect workers and ensure regulatory compliance. You will partner with plant leadership to embed safety into daily operations and drive continuous improvement. You will oversee risk assessments, incident investigations, audits, and corrective actions while scaling a proactive safety culture. This role sits at the site leadership table, shaping safety, sustainability, and operational excellence. You will implement ISO-based systems and manage emergency response and regulatory programs to deliver measurable safety performance.

Responsibilities
  • Lead development, implementation, and continuous improvement of site-wide EHS programs and systems
  • Foster a proactive safety culture via engagement, coaching, training, and behavioral safety initiatives
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, inspections, and compliance reviews with corrective actions
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action programs
  • Act as site SME for OSHA, environmental, and regulatory compliance
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality to integrate EHS into daily activities
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans and crisis management procedures
  • Monitor EHS performance metrics and drive continuous improvement
  • Lead environmental compliance for air, water, waste, stormwater, and related programs
  • Deliver training and coach leaders to strengthen safety ownership
  • Support ISO-based management systems and adherence to standards and regulations
  • Contribute to site leadership decisions on safety, sustainability, and operational excellence
Key requirements
  • 7+ years of progressive EHS leadership in manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental compliance
  • Experience managing air, water, waste, hazardous materials, and permitting
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
  • Proven experience in incident investigations, risk assessments, audits, and compliance
  • Experience supporting fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing operations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management
  • Ability to influence change at all levels
