Overview In this role, you lead the CMS team within HDR's Water Business Group, driving quality outcomes on critical water projects. You will shape project delivery, mentor staff, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to align with HDR's inclusion-driven, employee-owned culture. You'll tackle planning, scheduling, budgets, and safety oversight to support resilient water infrastructure. Responsibilities- Lead, mentor, and support the CMS team
- Manage workload and staff assignments to deliver quality products
- Provide project oversight and mentorship
- Select, train, and manage technical personnel
- Support hiring initiatives for the CMS Business Class
- Coordinate services across sections and handle administrative responsibilities
- Implement and monitor company policy
- Support project management activities: planning, directing, and monitoring
- Prepare and update project schedules, pay requests, progress reports, budgets, and schedule management reports
- Ensure subcontractor compliance with Health and Safety Program via communication and inspections
- Coordinate local bidding efforts
- Handle project setup and temporary facilities
- Participate in business development including client interaction and proposals
- Support QA/QC procedures and training for personnel
- Mentor less-experienced Project Managers for growth
- Be active in recruitment and hiring
- Perform other duties as needed
Key requirements- Bachelor
