Overview In this role you will design and verify flight-critical spacecraft power electronics to support Apex's satellite buses. You will work on generation, storage, distribution, and DC-DC conversion, shaping architecture through cross-functional collaboration. The position blends clean-sheet design with practical verification to meet harsh-space environments and mission needs. You will help push performance boundaries while contributing to Apex's growing family of spacecraft platforms. Responsibilities- Design, analysis, and testing of spacecraft power systems (generation, storage, distribution, DC-DC conversion) for harsh environments
- Perform electrical power system verification testing and analysis
- Drive system and electrical architecture trades, develop product requirements, and manage design documentation and manufacturing planning
- Collaborate with design, test, and production teams to create new power electronics hardware
- Lead technical leadership across the organization, including risk management and technology introduction
Key requirements- 1+ years of spacecraft electronics experience
- Experience across spacecraft power systems
- Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering or related field; Master's preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with multiple audiences
- Extensive experience in spacecraft design, launch, and operation across development lifecycle
- Experience in integrated software/hardware verification and testing
