Overview You will contribute to the launch of the Master of Urban Technology program in Detroit, teaching and researching at the intersection of urban technology, data, AI, and the built environment. You will join Taubman College and the URP program, collaborating across UMCI and university-wide initiatives. Expect to balance rigorous undergraduate and graduate teaching with research that engages private-sector perspectives and advances urban technology. Responsibilities- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses (4-course annual load); three courses in Detroit for MUT and one in Ann Arbor annually, in person.
- Develop and conduct research in urban technology and design, collaborating with UMCI, Taubman College, and the broader university.
- Provide mentorship and service, including committee work and potential academic leadership roles within the College.
