Overview In this role you will apply orbital analysis and systems engineering to support space domain awareness within a National Security program. You will work as part of a cross-functional team at the National Space Defense Center to develop models, simulations, and algorithms for orbit determination and satellite characterization. You will collaborate with software teams to implement capabilities and may take on technical lead responsibilities. A TS/SCI clearance and 24/7 shift readiness enable you to contribute to critical space programs with meaningful impact.

Responsibilities- Develop algorithms and conduct quantitative analyses for orbit determination and system architecture studies
- Create models, simulations, and analysis tools to support national security space analysis
- Collaborate with software teams to implement and validate models and deliver user capabilities
- Advance new algorithms and enhance existing tool capabilities for orbital analysis
- Interact with customers and provide input to project managers on deliverables under senior guidance
- Potentially act as technical lead for limited project aspects
- Support 24/7 crew operations on rotating shifts if required
Key requirements- Active adjudicated Top Secret/SCI Clearance
- Bachelor's Degree and at least 6 years of related experience; Graduate Degree and at least 4 years; or 10 years of related experience in lieu of a degree
