Overview In this role you lead emergency assessment and repair programs for a federal client on Kauai, guiding rapid response, planning, and execution of facility and infrastructure repairs after disasters. You'll coordinate cross-functional teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure safe, compliant delivery. You'll interface with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to sustain mission continuity and recovery progress. This is a hands-on leadership position with meaningful impact on public infrastructure resilience.

Responsibilities- Lead emergency assessment and repair projects for facilities, utilities, infrastructure, and mission-critical assets.
- Manage all phases from damage assessment to design, construction, and closeout.
- Coordinate rapid response activities post-disaster to support mission continuity.
- Review technical documents, repair plans, cost estimates, schedules, and submittals for quality and compliance.
- Monitor scope, budget, schedule, quality, and safety outcomes.
- Serve as primary liaison with client representatives, regulators, and stakeholders.
- Oversee construction management, including field inspections, progress tracking, and risk management.
- Manage AECOM staff, subcontractors, and specialty consultants for emergency response and recovery.
- Assist with budgeting, invoicing, forecasting, construction accounting, and contract administration.
- Prepare and present project updates and reports to leadership.
- Ensure documentation and reporting comply with federal and client standards.
- Support strategic planning for facility resilience and long-term recovery initiatives.
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience in construction, infrastructure, facilities, emergency response, disaster recovery or related programs; or demonstrated equivalency.

- Valid driver's license with ability to pass MVR check.
