Overview

As Field Applications Manager, you lead a team of Field Applications Scientists to optimize flow cytometry workflows, aligning product capabilities with market needs. You drive technical excellence and superior customer experience while partnering with sales and R&D. You'll represent the company at conferences and guide pre- and post-sales support, training, and protocol development. Responsibilities
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Field Applications Scientists
  • Support sales growth strategy and funnel acceleration via applications collaboration and value-added services
  • Represent the company as a leader at conferences and workshops
  • Oversee technical and scientific pre- and post-sales support for customers, including presentations, demonstrations, protocol development, training and troubleshooting
  • Establish best practices, standard work, and workflows, and performance metrics for the applications team
  • Ensure team performance accountability and compliance
  • Manage departmental staffing and resource allocation
Key requirements
  • BSc, MSc or PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or related life science discipline
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in flow cytometry
  • 2+ years in a life science leadership or management role preferred but not required
  • Experience in applications, technical support, or field-based scientific role preferred
  • Willingness to travel up to 85% overnight; valid driver's license and acceptable MVR
  • Nice-to-have in: Field Applications Management and/or Clinical Flow Cytometry
