Overview In this role you lead the strategy and operations of the shared services organization to deliver scalable, compliant services. You will oversee Payroll, Billing, Accounts Payable, Procurement, and Travel & Expense, driving standardization and system integration. You partner with Finance, HR, IT, and Operations to align with enterprise priorities, champion automation and data-driven decision making, and build a high-performing team. This remote leadership position focuses on continual improvement and cross-functional impact across the organization.
Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership for payroll, billing, accounts payable, procurement, and travel & expense functions
- Drive ERP transformation and optimize financial systems to enhance service delivery
- Redesign end-to-end processes for efficiency and scalability
- Ensure accurate and timely processing across all shared services functions
- Implement strong internal controls, policies, and governance frameworks
- Establish KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Oversee sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation for cost-effective service delivery
- Build and develop a high-performing team through upskilling and leadership development
Key requirements- Bachelor of Science degree required
- Minimum of 10 years of experience, 12 years preferred, in shared services leadership
- Proven expertise in ERP systems, process optimization, and financial system integration
- Strong knowledge of payroll, billing, procurement, and accounts payable operations
- Experience in leading large teams and driving workforce transformation initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to implement cost-saving initiatives and optimize service delivery
- Proficiency in establishing KPIs and performance dashboards for operational excellence
