Overview In this role you drive campus-based delivery for metro projects, reviewing design and site information to enable timely, data-driven decisions. You will manage procurement, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to meet scope, schedule, and budget. As a safety leader, you ensure regulatory compliance and risk mitigation across campus/metro constructions. You will partner with internal teams and vendors to align with Microsoft's vision and program goals, delivering secure, high-quality facilities. Responsibilities- Monitor project budget and controls; suggest adjustments
- Lead change management and ensure adherence to new processes
- Attend and advise project meetings; advocate for safety and security
- Drive delivery of campus/metro projects with data-based decisions
- Oversee procurement for resources and materials within budgets
- Report on project progress (scope, schedule, standards, budget)
- Collaborate with internal teams and contractors to align with corporate goals
- Evaluate vendor performance and ensure contract/compliance alignment
- Review design/documentation; identify risks and propose mitigations
- Represent Microsoft in safety leadership; conduct audits and incident investigations
- Develop metrics and dashboards to track risk and program progress
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years related experience; or 12+ years preferred
- 12+ years experience on data center projects
- Ability to meet Microsoft Cloud background check and security screening requirements
