Medical Claims Analyst

As a Medical Claims Analyst, you support the IBNR team's claim and billing workflows, provider outreach, and refund resolution. You will navigate complex systems to verify claims, analyze overpayments, and drive timely follow-up on high-volume cases. You enable accurate payments and issue resolution through data-driven investigation and reporting. The role offers hybrid work in Tampa and exposure to a large, transformation-focused technology services organization. You will help ensure efficient, accurate claims handling that supports financial and operational outcomes.

• Provider outreach to obtain claim payments
• Claims verification by reviewing bill history for receipt and accuracy
• Refund processing including overpayment analysis and reimbursement facilitation
• Claims research and resolution, including handling appeals
• Excel-based reporting using pivot tables and documenting research findings
• End-to-end follow-ups to ensure timely receipt of bills
• High-volume case management of approximately 600 open cases and daily email inquiries
