Overview In this role you support product management focused on government insurance offerings, ensuring regulatory compliance and shaping product strategies. You will lead analysis, define complex requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with our product portfolio. The role involves market insights, training, and SME guidance to inform decisions that impact Medicare Advantage, SNP, and related government programs. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to influence compliance-driven product development in a large health insurer.
Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and internal policies
- Oversee design specifications for product enhancements aligned with strategy
- Provide business training on existing products and on changes
- Act as SME and consultant for product management
- Lead market and competitor analysis to inform strategic decisions
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements- 5 years of relevant experience in product management or related field within insurance
- Experience with CMS and state filing activities for Medicare Advantage and Special Needs Plans (preferred)
- Experience with supplemental benefit vendors (preferred)
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
