Overview As an experienced Outsourced CFO for EisnerAmper's Outsourced Services practice, you provide strategic financial leadership to real estate private equity funds. You will guide capital strategy, fund structuring, and growth planning while overseeing fund accounting, reporting, and governance. You'll work closely with fund sponsors, general partners, and external professionals to shape investment decisions and ensure compliant, scalable fund operations. Responsibilities- Serve as a trusted CFO advisor to real estate fund sponsors and general partners on capital strategy, growth planning, and major investment decisions
- Develop forward-looking financial models, forecasts, and performance insights to guide portfolio strategy and capital allocation
- Represent clients in strategic discussions with investors, lenders, and stakeholders on financing, liquidity, and fund performance
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and liquidity planning for complex real estate funds and related entities
- Oversee capital calls, distributions, capital accounts, preferred returns, and waterfall calculations across LP/GP and joint venture structures
- Lead investor reporting and performance measurement (NAV, IRR, equity multiple, cash-on-cash) and support acquisitions, dispositions, refinancing
- Advise on LPAs, operating agreements, side letters, and translate provisions into practical reporting and waterfall methodologies
- Oversee third-party fund administrators to ensure accurate reporting and US GAAP compliance
- Establish and strengthen financial policies, internal controls, and scalable fund reporting practices
- Lead regulatory and audit processes with external teams, and drive improvements in operations and controls
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 15+ years of accounting and finance experience with real estate private equity fund structures (fund of funds, joint ventures, co-investment)
- Experience with fund accounting, capital account maintenance, waterfall or promote calculations, and US GAAP financial reporting for investment funds
