Overview In this role you will oversee software development efforts across the full SDLC, focusing on FileNet and Case Manager-powered processes. You will work with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful deployment and integration of new or enhanced workflows. You'll lead testing, issue resolution, and audit/compliance activities while tracking performance and cost metrics. This position offers an opportunity to shape automation, governance, and operational health in a large, global rental business.
Responsibilities- Create and maintain lifecycle deliverables: requirements specs, process diagrams, solution designs, operating instructions
- Document configuration, project management, and training materials
- Oversee design, configuration, testing, deployment, and integration of new/enhanced processes using FileNet Process Designer, Case Manager Admin tool, and ACCE
- Lead admin support activities for BAW, WAS, ICC; perform upgrades, tuning, and patches
- Lead testing activities: integration, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing
- Lead defect tracking, repair, and reporting
- Review and implement preventive maintenance, monitoring dashboards, and cost optimization
- Generate audit reporting and ensure audit compliance for FileNet and Case Manager
- Write and review high-quality technical documentation
- Establish and report on project performance metrics and financial impact
- Manage automation activities, governance, and automation performance metrics
- Configure and monitor system health using Dynatrace and AWS CloudWatch
- Partial telecommute; must reside within commuting distance of Hertz office
Key requirements- Bachelor in Engineering (or equivalent) with 5 years of Technical Lead experience or Master with 2 years
- Experience designing, developing, and testing software using FileNet and Case Manager
- Admin support on BAW, WAS, ICC; upgrades, performance tuning, patches
- Hands-on AWS setup (EC2, ALB, Security Groups) and MS SQL/AWS RDS experience
- Designing workflows with FileNet Process Designer and deploying with Case Manager Administration tool; FileNet ACCE administration
