Overview In this Territory Manager role, you build and manage professional referral networks across Los Angeles County to grow admissions and awareness of Akua's behavioral health programs. You'll focus on field-based relationship development with hospitals, providers, and organizations, driving strategic partnerships and measurable referral growth. The position combines business development with community engagement to expand access to care. You'll work independently in the field, collaborating with admissions and clinical teams to place clients and represent Akua professionally.

Responsibilities- Grow and manage referral relationships across Los Angeles County
- Develop new referral partnerships with hospitals, treatment providers, clinicians, EAPs, colleges, universities, and healthcare organizations
- Educate partners on Akua's programs and services
- Create and execute territory growth strategies
- Attend networking events, conferences, and community meetings
- Collaborate with Admissions and Clinical teams to support client placement
- Maintain accurate CRM activity and referral documentation
- Meet and exceed outreach activity and performance goals
- Represent Akua professionally within the community
Key requirements- Must live in Greater Los Angeles and travel within territory
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently while managing a territory
