Overview In this role you lead assurance engagements from planning to delivery, ensuring audits, reviews, and compilations meet standards and deadlines. You partner with firm leadership to maintain quality, manage scope, and drive efficient engagement execution. You coach and develop the audit team while maintaining strong client relationships and pursuing opportunities for service expansion. You contribute to a collaborative, growth-minded culture focused on high-quality, timely assurance services.
Responsibilities- Direct multiple assurance engagements from planning through final delivery, including audits, reviews, and compilations
- Coordinate timelines, staffing, budgets, and billing to keep engagements on track
- Resolve complex accounting and internal control issues using sound judgment and technical expertise
- Review workpapers, financial statements, and reports for accuracy and compliance
- Serve as primary client contact, providing updates and building long-term relationships
- Coach, supervise, and assess senior staff and interns, supporting technical and career development
- Collaborate with firm leadership to improve engagement execution and maintain quality
- Identify opportunities to expand client services and support business growth
- Meet utilization goals while upholding confidentiality and promoting audit process improvements
