Overview In this Controller role, you will lead the accounting function for a Tulsa-based client, ensuring accurate financial results and guiding budgeting decisions. You will transform complex data into actionable insights for senior leaders, build and mentor a strong team, and maintain regulatory compliance. You will streamline processes, particularly in Workday Financials, and oversee audits and internal controls to support reliable financial reporting and strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities- Direct and mentor the corporate accounting team and oversee accounts payable operations
- Manage end-to-end financial reporting, including statements, management reports, and performance analysis for executives
- Collaborate with senior leadership on annual budgets, forecasts, and financial planning to support business goals
- Provide financial guidance to cross-functional teams to improve business decisions
- Refine workflows in Workday Financials to reduce manual processes and enhance operations
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements
- Oversee annual external audit preparation and coordinate the audit process
- Review reconciliations, close processes, and ledger integrity to ensure accurate records
