Overview In this client-facing role, you drive cost management across diverse projects in the Pacific Northwest. You will provide cost planning, estimating, procurement, commercial management, and cost control to help projects stay on budget and deliver value. Responsibilities- Advising on procurement strategies and managing vendor prequalification and bidding processes
- Leading estimating activities across project lifecycles and presenting cost and value engineering recommendations
- Preparing and maintaining cost reports, forecasts, and commercial risk registers; facilitating cost review meetings
- Overseeing cost control processes including payment reviews, change orders, and dispute avoidance
- Managing project invoicing, benchmarking against market data, and final account negotiations
- Conducting post-project reviews and documenting lessons learned
- Developing handover procedures and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Using cost estimating, takeoff, and project controls tools to support delivery
- SOX control responsibilities where applicable
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field
- 3-5 years of relevant cost management or quantity surveying experience in construction
- RICS accreditation or progress toward accreditation preferred
- Experience on medium to large-scale construction projects; construction consultancy experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of procurement, value engineering, and cost management principles
