Overview In this construction project management role, you drive contract administration, scheduling, and cost control to keep projects on track. You collaborate with the superintendent and cross-functional teams to coordinate submittals, procurement, and mobilization while maintaining rigorous DFS documentation. You lead closeout, change management, and safety/quality checks to ensure compliance with plans and policies. You will shape project delivery through disciplined planning and hands-on supervision, contributing to successful, on-schedule project completion.
Responsibilities- Contract administration and documentation control across drawings, specs, submittals, RFIs, and daily reports
- Quantity reporting and takeoffs; assist with change requests and pricing impact
- Attend progress, planning, and safety meetings; assist with mobilization and coordination with superintendent
- Assist in mobilization, day-to-day project tasks, and development of Work Plans
- Prepare closeout documents and support pay applications
- Update project schedules, procurement timelines, and three-week lookahead; maintain DFS quality and inspections
- Supervise and coordinate subcontractors; oversee material and equipment deliveries
- Review timesheets for accurate job costing and perform safety observations and quality inspections
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements- Four year degree in technical discipline
- Ability to read and interpret project drawings and specifications
- Strong computer, mathematics, communication, and technical writing skills
- Basic understanding of engineering or construction principles
