Lab Manager

You will provide essential support to the DSTS chemistry laboratories, enabling smooth day-to-day operations. In this role you will help maintain instruments, prepare solutions, manage reagents and waste, and ensure data tracking and SOP compliance. You'll work closely with lab teams to support experiments and ongoing projects, contributing to safe, efficient lab operations. The position offers hands-on experience in a regulated lab environment and exposure to core laboratory processes.

• Provide general laboratory support to the DSTS chemistry laboratories
• Perform periodic cleaning and basic maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment
• Handle general lab support tasks: cleaning glassware, autoclaving supplies, and laboratory housekeeping
• Prepare various chemical solutions and media
• Maintain stocks of laboratory reagents and supplies
• Coordinate disposal of glass, biohazard, chemical, and radiochemical waste
• Record data and perform basic mathematical computations
• Review temperature monitoring charts
• Assist with special projects as assigned
• Follow all applicable SOPs and procedures

• Doctorate degree OR Masters degree with 2 years of experience OR Bachelors degree with 4 years of experience OR Associates degree with 8 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED with 10 years of experience
