Overview In this role you support the Construction Project Manager and EPC leadership to drive safety, quality, cost control, scheduling, and contract administration across diverse EPC projects. You work with cross-functional teams to manage field activities, procurement, risk reviews, and project documentation, helping to deliver projects on time and within budget. You collaborate with clients and project teams to align on scope, permits, and turnover, shaping project execution and continuous improvement. This position offers exposure to multiple industries and a fast-paced field environment.
Responsibilities- Assist with day-to-day management of safety, quality, schedule and cost control on EPC projects
- Support development and implementation of project plans (Execution, QA, Safety, Subcontracting, Staffing, Procurement)
- Contribute to contract administration (prime/subcontracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals)
- Prepare project documentation, meeting minutes, and status reports for stakeholders
- Coordinate mobilization/demobilization, permits, and bidder pre-qualification
- Support cost reporting, WBS, progress tracking, and closeout processes
- Verify insurance, licenses, taxes, and security compliance
- Assist with labor planning, craft classifications, and equipment management
- Ensure adherence to company policies and safety/quality standards
- Facilitate turnover, records retention, warranty, and project closeout processes
- Maintain project filing systems and documents; participate in audits
- Support program management on issues related to safety, quality, and schedule
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in construction, construction management, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3 years of relevant construction experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
- Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control, and project management software (preferred)
- Strong written/verbal communication and organizational skills
- Analytical problem-solving and attention to detail
- Ability to handle large volumes of work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in aviation, commercial, energy, government, manufacturing, oil & gas, process, transmission & distribution, transportation, or water sectors (preferred)
- Basic understanding of GAAP
- Ability to travel (100%) and meet driving requirements
